Visit and discover for yourself the amazing underwater world of our planet. More than 20,000 marine mammals, fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians call the award-winning habitats of the aquarium home. From the Amazon River Forest and Atlantic Coral Reefs to local Maryland wildlife, you can see it all. Hours -

Monday through Thursday - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed on Christmas Day. Visitors may tour up to 90 minutes after the last entry.

    Anytime is a great time to visit the National Aquarium. But if you prefer a quieter experience, visiting on weekdays or weekends before 11:00 a.m. or after 3:00 p.m. is your best bet. Weekends are quite popular at the Aquarium, so you can expect the largest crowds on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
